VolunteerConnector. This is a free online volunteer recruitment platform, allowing nonprofits to post unlimited volunteer opportunities anywhere in Saskatchewan! 

Questions for Candidates. Citizens benefit when governments at all levels and the nonprofit sector work in collaboration to serve their communities. This is especially critical now as both sectors are supporting those affected through the pandemic and beyond while at the same time the nonprofit sector has been severely impacted itself. During this year’s provincial and municipal elections, include the nonprofit sector in conversations with candidates.

Catalyst for Change: A Roadmap to a Stronger Charitable Sector. The Special Senate Committee on the Charitable Sector held extensive consultations with charities, non-profit, and volunteer groups to learn how Canada could better support their important work. The report details the strategies, recommendations and regulatory reforms needed to maximize the impact of this sector in communities in Canada and around the world.

Value of Volunteering Wheel. This illustrates the benefits of volunteering to building confidence, competence, connections, and community and serves as a portal to research that examines the social and economic value to organizations, neighbourhoods, businesses, society and volunteers.
 
Canadian Code for Volunteer Involvement. Volunteer Canada created the CCVI to support organizations that engage volunteers. The CCVI is a guide for involving volunteers in all levels of an organization.

Ontario Nonprofit Network Recent Publications. The ONN has collection of publications on Decent Work, Evaluation, Leadership Competencies, Shared Platforms and more!

Young People and Nonprofit Work. The future of the charitable work force in Canada can be seen in how charities and nonprofits hire, engage and retain young early-career workers. Through a series of interviews with young workers, Imagine Canada gained insights into the experiences, aspirations and challenges these individuals face as they explore a career in the charitable sector.
